Evolution's 6-1/2" 40-tooth mild steel cutting blade uses the highest-grade carbide for increased durability, hardened blade body to ensure the blade runs truer for longer, and ultra-high grade brazing techniques. These make it the ideal choice for cutting mild steel and ferrous metals. Leaving an instantly workable finish and producing virtually no heat, burrs, or sparks.     Doesn’t work as advertised on steel

    Stopped working properly after about 3 feet of cutting 1/16” mild steel. This is all the support had to say: “Our Multi-Material blade will cut metal, however, it is more for cutting wood, plastics, ect.”

    I use this blade on an Evolution saw that I use to process repurposed wood. Even though the wood may have some nails or screws imbedded in them I don't have to worry and honestly, don't even look for them anymore
