Evolution's 7-1/2" 40-tooth mild steel cutting blade uses the highest-grade carbide for increased durability, hardened blade body to ensure the blade runs truer for longer, and ultra-high grade brazing techniques. These make it the ideal choice for cutting mild steel and ferrous metals. Leaving an instantly workable finish and producing virtually no heat, burrs, or sparks. Common applications include square tube, angle iron, mild steel plate, pipe, and tube.

    Great saw blade

We used one of these on a project cutting notches in 2" sch40 (0.120" wall) A500 tubing and one blade lasted for the entire job which was 400+ cuts.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Cuts amazing, but with a shortened life span

Initially this blade cut 1/4" plate steel like it was a piece of plywood. After a fair amount of cutting it became more difficult but still cuts. It was however run on a regular skill saw which operates at 5800 RPMs. The Evolution skill saw designed for this blade operates at 2900 RPM which likely extends the blade life. All in all the blade will complete the job it was purchased for.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
