Evolutions R355CPS is a 15A 14 in. Corded Multi-Material Cutting Chop Saw that was designed for accuracy, reliability and power. The product is backed by a 3-year warranty to ensure peace of mind for the user. The powerful 15 Amp motor has been tested to 160 hours without any failure. A Japanese 32 tooth TCT blade is included with the ability to cut steel and various metals with no heat generated and virtually no sparks. The built-in chip deflector keeps your workspace tidy and saves you clean up time. During cutting the chip deflector directs the chips down and out the machine away from the operator. The lower RPMs along with the uniquely configured blade promotes accurate cutting with safety in mind.

Straight cuts, robust design

The build quality is high. I like the full blade guard that retracts very well through the cut. The cuts are very straight. Metal dust/chips capture is good. My only qualms are it would be nice to be able to switch the angle guide to allow angles from both directions. The angle guide is also bent metal so there is a very small gap at the bottom (outside radius) that thin material can wedge into. I ripped a 1x4 and clamped it to the guide for thin sheet metal and it works ok. The saw itself is great, I'll probably modify the angle guide to make it more functional

Excellent Chop Saw!

After using basic chop saws with abrasive wheels for many years, I was looking for a saw that can cut aluminum and stainless steel to make custom Intercooler and exhaust pipes for my project car. A quick Google search and I came across this Evolution brand. I’m extremely impressed with the cutting power and cut quality of the saw. Cuts are straight and square with minimal burrs to clean up and the parts don’t get hot after cutting. I changed to their stainless steel blade and it cuts 304 SS tubes with no issue. This saw is one of the best tool I’ve purchased so far.

Poor cut at 45 degrees

I used this to cut miters in metal tubing. It struggled to make more than 5 cuts with a new blade. Blades are very expensive..
