Q: Can this be glued directly to the concrete slab? What adhesive is recommended in dog kennel areas?
2 years ago- A: Danny, This is a great question and I appreciate your reaching out. With concrete as the base for the kennel, the dog urine will ultimately seep into the concrete and create a strong odor. We recommend putting a sealant on the concrete, before putting down the turf, to keep the urine from soaking into the concrete. (Thompson's water seal or a similar product.) Then, I would put the turf on top the concrete and hose it down 1-2 times a week to wash away the urine. You could glue it to the concrete after the sealant was put down. I would go sparingly around the edges to start.2 years agoHelpful?
