The solid material construction (as opposed to painted fiberglass) will keep it looking good and easy to inspect throughout its service life. The internal harness has enough easy to work adjustment points that getting it to rest properly on your head and around your ears should be an easy task, and the vinyl overwrap on the lower part of the chinstrap is comfortable against the skin under your chinny chin chin. The integrated headlamp mounts save you the headache of keeping a strap-mounted light on your hat and give you the option to wear the light on either end of the hat, depending on how it is worn for the job. I'm looking forward to banging my head into low-hanging pipes with this one.
