The Chill-Its 8939 Cooling Bucket Hat features a performance evaporative cooling material that provides immediate cooling relief when worn wet and wicks sweat and moisture when worn dry. Designed with a polyester-spandex blend, this cooling sun hat is flexible, easily folds up for storage and offers a comfortable and stretchable fit. The wide brim and UPF 50+ treatment offers face, ear, and neck protection from harmful UV rays and an anti-odor treatment makes for fresh all-day wear. One size fits most, this cooling hat features a back-of-hat cinch cord for an adjustable fit.

HOW TO ACTIVATE
Run or soak the bucket hat in water until saturated, wring out excess water and wave to activate with airflowthe evaporative cooling process begins instantly and lasts for hours when worn in environments with suitable airflow. If worn dry, the moisture-wicking fabric draws perspiration away to keep you dry. To reactivate, simply rewet.

Keeping the Sun at bay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this hat for work and I am pleased with it. It’s light weight and the brim is large enough to keep my face in the shade. Being light weight like it is, I thought it would blow off my head if a good gust of wind comes around, and it did, but with the headband tightening strap, it stays on perfectly. I would def recommend this product to anyone looking for a floppy hat.

A good hat, only better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the 8936 Ranger hat for a few years and I’ve always liked it. Now I reach for my 8939 Bucket hat instead. Construction is top notch with nice materials. Folds up really small to shove in a pocket or tool bag. It has a nice thick sweatband/cooling band which is quite comfortable. Dunk in cold water for an “Ahhhhh” inspiring relief from the heat. The draw cinch is much better than the old chin strap that always got in the way. The brim is wide enough to keep the sun off your face and neck with ease. The brim doesn’t snap up, so you can’t rock that Jesse Ventura look from Predator. But you shouldn’t anyways….

Floppy Hat FTW

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn't have a chin strap to interfere. Definitely aids in keeping my head cooler. Reminds you to resoak when the top of your head gets warm. Easy to wring out excess water. Brim flips up and stays when you need it to be gone. Looking forward to wearing it on my next float trip.
