The Chill-Its Hi-Vis PVA Cooling Ranger Sun Hat is a lightweight and breathable sun protection hat with advanced PVA cooling technology lining the rim for relief in extreme heat. This 150D polyester sun hat features a wide brim for complete face and head coverage, while 360-degree mesh venting maximizes airflow for breathable comfort. The hi-vis colors (lime or orange) and 1 in. // 2.5 cm. reflective tape are ANSI 107-approved to keep workers safe and seen. When activated, this cooling ranger hat is comfortable and refreshing for even the hottest days of the year.

  • Hyper-evaporative PVA liner easily activates with water for up to four hours of cooling relief
  • 360-degree mesh venting for maximum airflow
  • Made with ANSI 107-approved hi-vis fabric and 1 in. reflective tape to keep workers safe and seen
  • Drawstring cord for a secure fit under chin
  • Hat brim width: 2.5 in. // 6.5 cm.

Ordered one each for myself and my son, and we were the envy of everyone at summer day camp. We've had ours for three seasons now and use them almost daily. The material is sturdy, yet light weight and very durable. It is stain resistant. It rolls up for packing (just add water to reshape before wearing).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome hat! Visibility is excellent and fabric magically repels dirt so the hat keeps its clean, sharp appearance without the need for washing.The evaporation-cooling liner/headband is a little stiff at first, but running the hat under cools water both loosens it up and makes the hat even cooler!My only complaint would be that the hat runs a little small for my head, but over the last year of use its actually stretched out to fit even my larger head quite nicely. :)
