The Earthquake Versa front tine tiller is two garden tools in one! As a cultivator, The Versa can weed, mulch, and aerate soil. As a tiller, the high-performance 99cc Viper engine and design delivers the right amount of power to turn all kinds of soil. Prepare wide open spaces of land in the Spring, maintain rows in the Summer, and do major cleanup in the Fall. The side shields and outer tines can be quickly removed to turn the tiller into a narrow cultivator without the use of any tools. Choose between 3 tilling widths (11, 16 or 21 inches) for optimal performance in your garden. Set the drag stake to your desired tilling depth (up to 11") to maintain a consistent seed bed. Standard rotating tines propel The VERSA through all soil types with minimal effort. The Versa is backed by a friendly, U.S. based customer support team, and a 5-year limited warranty so you can be sure your Earthquake tiller will perform for many years to come. You can't count on the rain, but you can count on Earthquake.

Mine finally broke

First of all, this thing owes me nothing, I abused this thing until it finally gave up. I used it to brake up tree roots, bust up rocky soil, bust up more rocky soil, then go back to the roots. I tilled well over an acre with this thing. Its light enough that I was able to throw it in my truck and till my folks' raised beds. I brought it to my buddy's and pulled up all the big rocks in their garden bed. It jammed with the rocks a few times, but each time I cleared the tines, it said "thank you sir, may I have another" and started right back up. Eventually the transmission gave up (something had to) while in was beating up some pine roots. Mine is more duct tape than machine at this point, so I'm retiring it while it still has a bit of dignity. I still have my regular gardens and compost to maintain, so I'm definitely picking another one up this year. I'll be a lot nicer to this one.

Do not buy

Used it 3 times. Now it won’t start. Called 4 authorized repair centers, all out of business. Ordered a replacement air filter unit in July and still haven’t received it. Would not recommend tiller or manufacturer.

Bad engine

Not a good purchase. Bought mine in the spring of 24, used it 3 times and has not ran since then. Cleaned the carburetor up, still wouldn't run. Put new spark plug, nothing. Bought a new carburetor, ran for about 15 seconds, died and now it won't run. Put all new fuel lines on it, nothing, cleaned the fuel tank out of course the fitting broke off, bought new fitting, put gas in, nothing. Worst $500 I've ever spent.
