I've purchased Greenworks products before and liked them, this one I do not for several reasons: (1) The tangs on the tiller are basically just saw blades in shape - they do not cut roots (like a typical "L-shaped" blade does. They mix dirt, but do not cut the roots of any small plant; (2) It's not very well made, it broke about 30 minutes into use when the cotter-pin they have on the blades fell off and dissappered into the dirt; (3) and the ergonomics on this are really poorly designed - the handle should be around 18" shorter. You end with the handle being closer to your arm pits than your waist. I did give it two stars because the battery lasted a full 30 minutes before I needed to recharge it, and it was easy to assemble.

For best performance, it helps to work in smaller passes, avoid pushing down forcefully (let the tines do the work), and make sure the soil is pre-moistened if it is particularly hard or dry, as that can significantly reduce load on the motor.
