The Earthquake Pioneer Dual Direction Rear Tine Tiller is built for gardeners who demand an easy-to-use tiller capable of tackling large gardens. Its dual-direction capability is suited for all phases of planting: Counter Rotating Tine (CRT) mode effortlessly breaks through tough new, virgin soil and stubborn clay, while Standard Rotating Tine (SRT) mode leaves a smooth, fluffy seed bed ready for planting. Getting in and out of tight rows or near fences is effortless with a quick pull of the Instant Reverse handle, letting you turn around on-the-spot, without stopping or shifting gears. A patented, ultra-efficient transmission delivers the tine-turning power of larger tillers while running a quieter, high-output 99cc, 4-cycle Viper engine. The result is an outstanding tiller with a maximized powertrain that works hard, starts easy, and lets you till with confidence. At just 137 lbs., it offers unmatched maneuverability compared to heavier 200-lb. competitor models and its lower, wider body and forward-facing engine deliver natural front-to-back and side-to-side stability, which eliminates the need for counterbalance weights and avoids the tippy and top-heavy feel common in other offset engine and transmission designs. Airless rubber tires mounted to steel rims will never go flat and feature extra-wide and aggressive tread blocks that provide maximum traction across any terrain. Easily guide the Pioneer with 2- or 1- hand from either side, keeping footprints out of your prepared seed bed. A three-position adjustable handlebar ensures a comfortable and perfect working height, while trailing rear shield smooths and shapes the soil into a clean, ready-to-plant finish. Backed by an industry leading 5-year limited product warranty and U.S.-based customer support, the Pioneer Dual Direction Rear Tine Tiller will perform for years to come.5-Year Limited Warranty
