  • A: We have not tested this auger in this type of application. Through some reviews, it has been stated that the smaller auger bits (4", 3", and 2") do better than larger bits in caliche.

    This is just perfect for drilling wood fence post holes. It makes the job almost effortless and hole is right size for posts so less backfilling than my 6" auger.

    Don’t guess 3/8th. It’s 5/16th

    It doesn’t include the 5/16th Allen wrench needed to install to the power head. (Neither does the power head!)
