Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made Light potting bench. Bottom shelf is adjustable for height. slats lift out easily in two pieces. this makes clean up easy. I sprayed the entire metal frame with 2 coats of clear enamel to inhibit rusting in South Carolina. I just. hose it off after a potting job. Easy to assemble. work surface is small relative to an old type wood potting bench. Buy two!

Hello - what kind of wood is used in this piece? And how will it weather, unprotected, in the upstate New York State weather (cold, snow, ice)?  How will the rest of the piece fare in the weather or should it be moved indoors? Thank you.

Asked by: Burgh girl
Composite wood is used on this product. Also it is recommended to cover the product if left outside during the cold New York winters.

What is the black thing hanging down below the left end of the top shelf? If it's some sort of bin, how is it accessed?

Asked by: Evelyn42
It is a trimmings bin. It can be accessed by removed a square portion of the wood slats on top.
