Very satisfied with the XP11000ih Duromax from TSC. I had been shopping generators for a couple months after having been through several power outages last winter in central Virginia. Julie sold me on TSC when she explained their extended warranty policy. Jeff, Jon and Logan were all helpful in the process helping me order online through the store computer. I settled on an inverter versus open frame which came with wheels attached, no assembly needed, just added oil, fired up with no issues.This generator is very quiet as generators go, just a low purr outside the window. The low idle feature of inverter generators is a fuel saver. I broke it in over an 8 hour period in two days, without using a 20 pound tank of propane. It powered all my needs, well pump, water heater, stove, mini-split, all lights after I got the 50 amp house switch installed. I have calculated using 1.5 gallons of LPG/hour at half load which is reasonable. TSC is an asset to Altavista and have competent sales associates.

The only thing that is disappointing is filling and checking the oil. Location and access extremely cumbersome.

I bought the 11000/9500 inverter in spring. Installed a Generac 50 amp manual transfer box and 6/3 cord. It runs a 3.5 ton AC easily so I am good. My water heaters and heat are natural gas. It runs great. The only problem I had was I had old instructions on how to unbond the neutral. A call to DM was no help so I went back to the self help stuff and I found updated instructions. Easy DIY. My neutral is now floating and safe to hook up to my home.

Bought this generator for my cape home in New England. Powers the boiler, well pump, radon reduction systems and everything with no problems. Installed my own interlock kit and now power outages are a total non-issue.
