The product is made to produce up to 32,000 BTU of heat, enough to heat 1,500 square feet of living space. The fireplace provides a beautiful and realistic flame pattern with realistic fiber ceramic logs for a stunning home experience. This vent-free fireplace system includes many features like a T-Stat control, Oxygen Depletion Sensor with automatic shut-off, battery assisted piezo ignition, and much more. The fireplace mantel has been carefully designed and created in a slate gray furniture grade finish that accents its quality and excellence. Assembly is required.

Q: Are they safe? Without ventilation, are they truly safe to use inside your home with natural gas?

  • A: Duluth Forge's Dual Fuel Ventless Fireplaces are an excellent alternative to traditional wood fireplaces. They can be placed anywhere within your home, since they do not require an outside duct or chimney. The combustion process in ventless gas fireplaces releases various byproducts, including carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2), directly into the indoor environment. These byproducts can have detrimental effects on indoor air quality and, consequently, on the health and well-being of occupants.

  • A: Hi there, According to the vendor: The flame is not adjustable it is either on or off. This fireplace features THERMOSTAT CONTROL: Easy-to-use thermostat automatically cycles the gas fireplace insert on and off to maintain a desired room temperature; Ideal for greater heat flow for the space heater in your room.
