The DR PRO 48 in. Power Grader with Powered Remote is a tow-behind grader that attaches to most lawn tractors, utility tractors and ATVs. DR's PRO grader models offer the convenience of cabled remote control that lets you adjust your grading depth from your tow vehicle while you drive. 12 carbide-tipped grading teeth loosen hard-packed dirt and gravel to remove bumps and washboard, as well as fill in potholes. The rear leveling blade then spreads the loosened material evenly. You can easily add weight (standard masonry blocks) to the power grader's frame for more aggressive performance.

For additional information on this product, please see the Product Documents section for all downloadable user manuals, installation guides, brochures and warranty statements.

  • Precise remote control lets you raise or lower the scarifying teeth from your towing vehicle with the touch of a button
  • 12 tungsten-carbide scarifying teeth are 10x harder than steel - it's the same material used on mining equipment to chew through solid rock
  • Powerful actuator provides a 4-in. stroke, raising the teeth from 4.5 in. above the surface (for travel and turning around) to 9/16 in. below the surface
  • Steel box shields the actuator from the elements and kicked-up debris while using the tow-behind grader
  • Solid 1/4-in. thick steel leveling blade
  • Rechargeable battery is easily removed without tools for bringing indoors during the off-season and can be charged on or off the grader (charger included)
  • DR PRO 48 Power Grader comes with pin hitch and ball hitch connectors for attachment to a lawn or garden tractor (14 HP and/or 400 lb. minimum). Also secures to a 360cc 4WD utility tractor or ATV
  • Warranty: 2 years (residential); 90 days (commercial)
  • Applications: Maintain baseball fields, prepare horse arenas, repair parking areas or seed a flat, even lawn

Q: Dose this machine till the gravel and grade it

1 Answer
  • A: Hi Chris, thanks for your quesiton! While this machine is designed for grading, it is possible to add more weight (up to 80 pounds) by placing two cinder blocks between the crossmembers when grading hard pack or gravel. The angle of the tines can also be adjusted to 50 degrees to allow for more aggressive cutting, 90 degrees for light dragging/mixing., and 105 degrees for light material and grooming.

Q: will this work on ice

1 Answer
  • A: Thanks for your question, Rick! The Power Grader is generally recommended for use on hard packed dirt or gravel. That said, the machine is solidly built and should be able to handle thin or small patches of ice without issue. See p.18 of the owner's manual for additional information on safe operating tips: https://dam.generac.com/ImConvServlet/imconv/fcc0f2979395865cf88343ff4ddec15764165641/original

Q: How much can this be raised? Can The teeth be lifted so that only the tires ride and it can drive over driveways and other small items?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi David, thanks for reaching out! Thanks to the remote-control transmitter, the teeth can be raised high enough so that there is clearance between the teeth and the ground surface, which allows the grader to be moved freely.

Q: Will this connect to a Kubota Utv

1 Answer
  • A: Thanks for your question! This Power Grader's dual hitch system allows for a tow vehicle to use pin or ball hitch for connecting. If using the ball hitch, you will need a 2" tow ball on the UTV.

Q: Will this work with an old ford 8n?

1 Answer
  • A: Thanks for your question! It's hard to say for certain without knowing the exact hitch configuration on your Ford 8n, but it's likely it will be compatible. The Power Grader comes with a pin hitch and 2" ball hitch connectors for attachment to a lawn or garden tractor, which means you have options for making the connection. I'll share a link to the owner's manual below. On p.15, there are instructions for connecting the power grader to your tractor: https://dam.generac.com/ImConvServlet/imconv/fcc0f2979395865cf88343ff4ddec15764165641/original

Q: How good are these on packed gravel driveways..

2 Answers
  • A: The Power Grader can handle gravel and aggregate materials. The main issue is the degree to which your road is compacted. If it is too compact it will take more passes to break it up or it could bend the scarifying teeth. Please contact the manufacture to discuss your project. Their toll free number is 1-800-687-6575.
