[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lever to change the blade breaks quickly and they know this. They continue to make a poorly designed product (the rest is very sturdy so its such a shame someone's ego won't allow a redesign) and they know it will break. That's just lousy!

Blade went in. It never came back out. Over designed, non-functional hunk of plastic and metal. Do not buy.

This should not be so difficult. I have purchased several of these utility knives and they are all sitting on a shelf. Instructions should not be necessary but it is impossible to change these blades... they're new, never been able to use.

Why in the world you have to take this apart to put in a blade, from purchase, is beyond me. It should come stocked with a blade, and why in the world, make it so ridiculously hard to put back together after you get this contraption apart, is beyond me. I am dewalt girl. Love my tools, drills, saws, etc. But it just so happens the same day I purchase a new utility knife and screwdriver, I have problems with both. The screwdriver had to be returned due to a defective bit. And inserting the blade was not the issue, just getting it apart and putting it back together without everything falling all over the place was! Frustrating!
