Been using an older DeWALT utility knife for years and wanted a second one for around the yard. Bought this over priced model and it’s total junk. Blade actually jiggles when secured in place, clip on rear is deformed and useless, the blade removal button is so cheap it feels like it’s going to break when pressed. Zero confidence the blade will remain in place if used. I will be returning and never buying any new dewalt products. Such a shame you can’t make quality products like you used to.

The lever to change the blade breaks quickly and they know this. They continue to make a poorly designed product (the rest is very sturdy so its such a shame someone's ego won't allow a redesign) and they know it will break. That's just lousy!

Blade went in. It never came back out. Over designed, non-functional hunk of plastic and metal. Do not buy.

This should not be so difficult. I have purchased several of these utility knives and they are all sitting on a shelf. Instructions should not be necessary but it is impossible to change these blades... they're new, never been able to use.
