Lifespan is terrible

All my tools are Dewalt, I thought this was a made in USA trustworthy company... The price of these batteries and their lifespan is comically bad.

Immediately returned because they were used and damaged looked like they had been left in a mud puddle before being returned, reordered and 3 days later got a message they were no longer available.
