Our 20V MAX* Corded/Cordless Air Inflator can run on any one of three power sources** for maximum versatility: 20V MAX* battery, 12V DC, or 110V AC. Use it on the jobsite, or on the go. It features a high-pressure rubber hose for durability. The threaded chuck and included onboard accessories make it easy to inflate items from tires to footballs. Setting desired air pressure is simple with the digital gauge, and the auto-shutoff provides accurate inflation. The high-volume hose allows fast inflation of mattresses and other inflatables with the push of a button. Move the hose to the deflation port for quick and easy take down. An onboard LED light helps to provide illumination in dark spaces. Heavy-duty rubber feet help reduce walking while in use. **Battery, charger, and AC power adapter sold separately.

Product is terrific when operating correctly. Unfortunately it will no longer work with battery - just 12 VDC. It is barely over two years old, and worked perfectly then when I tried to use it later it gave an error. After researching I found out this is a common fault. I am "bought into" the Dewalt world with several tools, chargers, and batteries and am happy with all but this product. This failure mode is obviously a known issue, but has not been addressed.

First time failure from Dewalt
a month ago
Dewalt tools are the most durable and dependable on the market. This tool let me down. I just purchased this product on my way to my cousins house. He is as big of a Milwaukee guy as I am Dewalt. He had recently bought the Milwaukee version and being two over grown boys we started measuring. We deflated his truck tire all the way and put a timer on how much the air pump would inflate in 5 minutes. The Milwaukee inflated it to 31lbs. The Dewalt with the superior design and features inflated the tire to 14.7 lbs ind five minutes. I hung my head and had to admit that my Dewalt was the looser.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Way more useful than I thought it would be

I bought this on a whim, and didn't realize how MUCH I would use this thing. It's so convenient to use, versus firing up the big compressor, unraveling the long hose, etc. Also, I buy old tractor, car, projects, and this is a mega time and effort saver for conveniently filling up tires in remote areas. I've only used it for tires...I haven't used it for other things.
Yes, I recommend this product.
