Excellent, beefy batteries for the price! Last much longer than the batteries that generally come with DeWalt tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had three of these compact 4ah batteries for a few years now. They have been fantastic. I can use them all day in my DCF 840 impact driver and not see a drop. Or my sander…. They just work. I’d certainly recommend them to anyone. Unlike other negative post, I can leave them for days on the tool, move them from tool to tool and continue using before I need to swap out to a fresh battery or charge. I’m no contractor but these get used. Now I am shopping for either more compact 4ah or the new Powerstack 1.7ah?

I have 4 of these batteries that are right around 2 years old and 3 out of the 4 won’t charge or hold a charge for anytime at all. I have plenty of older and newer batteries but only having issues with these 4ah ones

Over the past 3-4 years I’ve accumulated over 20 Dewalt cordless tools and about 15 20 volt batteries. I’ve never had any problems with any of tools or batteries, couple tools didn’t work as well as I hoped but I’m fine with that. I use to use Rigid 18 volts and had nothing but trouble. Come winter I use my brushless drill to auger my fishing holes plenty of power.
