Love the belt clip option and the clip as well. The only reason I am doing this is to make contact with DeWalt and find out why there isn't a replacement blade. I've had this thing maybe a total of 1.5 hours before it slipped off my pocket while I was on a ladder. As soon as it slipped off I watched it hit the ground and bent the blade which ended up breaking. Where is a replacement blade at?

OK for the price...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price not a bad tape. Very slow to wind back up, a brittle tape, and the housing doesnt seem to be built tight enough to ensure the crank arm gear stays engaged, I get a lot of gear skipping as I wind the tape back up unless I squeeze the case firmly while winding.
I do like it's low weight design, and the belt clip has help up pretty well, and that free-spinning clasp opposite of the tape dispencing end is strong, and handy.

Poor rewind mechanism

Rewinding the tape is very difficult. You have to turn the crank very hard and it skips.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Brittle Tape
Buyer beware, the tape is very brittle and will snap if kinked even slightly. It doesn't appear that DeWalt offers a replacement tape cartridge to salvage the housing so it's a throw away if the tape snaps like mine did.
No, I do not recommend this product.
