this product is a masterpiece it works even when damaged I have one and I've run this thing though the ringer its serviced me for well over 10,000 hours and I would buy it again even when I had power cord issues it wasn't the grinders fault just user error so its very easy to work on yourself to fix if need be only issue I've had is the brushes its hard for me to find them because I've never had to replace them before my own fault even though it has been though a lot of abuse and hard hits and drops it still works like it did sense day one would buy this product again 10 fold yes in another case yes its had some issues with outlets its a grinder that's meant for workplaces not everyday use run of the mill wall house socket its meant for more heavy duty sockets even rough surfaces it will still work its worked in 50 below zero temp wise and its still kicken today only issue is roughly after 12,538 hours of use you will need to change the brushes and be careful if run it for too long optimul running time before giving the motor time to collect itself is roughly 15 to 25 seconds of grinding if you treat your tools without care they wont work properly and that's on you not the DeWalt company or their tools its on you

Dw 6in grinder didn't have enough rpm or something to cut through thick aluminum

It's unfortunate that it's so difficult to use this grinder due to the 13amp motor. It instantly trips breakers for 120 outlets. I work industrial construction, and have been using it for a year now almost and everywhere I work I barely ever get to use it because very few outlets can power it. From welding rigs with 120's, to plant power, this grinder isn't worth the money if you can't even use it

Dewalt is a very reliable brand to buy and they are on top of things if you get the warranty
