The alcohol it contains provides a rapid and effective cooling effect as it evaporates. The gel is easy to apply and is formulated so that it does not clump the coat. Application: Apply the gel to intact skin and massage it in. Use up to three times daily. Bandaging the affected area after massaging in the gel can enhance the effect.
