Clematis 'Jackmanii' has 5-6" spectacular, dark, violet-purple semi-nodding flowers with green stamens that bloom in great profusion from July to September. It is popular and reliable. This vine grows best in a fertile, well-drained, alkaline soil. A choice site is key to the success of establishing this perennial. The Clematis performs best when sufficient moisture is given and the base of the plant is kept cool. Plant in a sunny location but cover the root zone with mulch or stone. The first spring after planting, prune your vine 6-12" from the ground. This perennial may be trained to cover a wall, trellis, or fence. Don’t waste your money!!!!

Horrible! The whole thing fell apart in my hands as soon as I opened it! I was left with 3 squiggly things (I’m guessing are roots) in my hands. I went ahead and planted them but nothing. Such a waste of money!

    Terrible quality

    There is nothing I like about this plant. I purchased one, opened the bag and there was nothing but dirt and green moss. Took back to Tractor Supply and they allowed me to exchange for another one. We planted it right away and it too is dead. We have other clematis's, so this is not our first time planting one. Never had this problem before. So disappointing.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    So beautiful

    When I first planted it barely moved. I waited a month and still hardly any growth. I then added a some of the liquid miracle grow and it wouldn’t stop growing! Mine is absolutely beautiful. I have had mine for about 4 years now. If you find out they aren’t growing for you they are obviously missing some nutrients I suggest adding something to them to help them grow.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
