The Dee Zee Red Label Fifth Wheel Utility Chest is constructed of heavy-duty Brite-Tread aluminum using a crown-style lid with a full-pan double-V stiffener for superior rigidity. The truck utility chest is designed with the fifth wheel in mind. It fits securely on either side of the hitch, at the front or back of your truck bed depending on your preference. We use dampened gas shocks for silky smooth opening and closing of the lid. Lockable paddle handles keep people out of your truck tool box, and a closed-cell foam gasket keeps the contents of your fifth wheel utility chest dry, cozy and protected from the elements.Note: This product may require up to 2 additional days for order processing prior to shipping

  • A: This product is 60 inch long and 24 inch wide. You need to measure your truck bed to verify fitment.

Q: Will this fit a 2016 chevrolet silverado lt quad cab 6'6" bed

  • A: This wide box would not sit on the bed floor because of the 60 inch and 24 inch width. It would hit the Wheel wells of the bed. the DZ 8556 will fit it this truck.

Q: How is the box secured to the bed of the P/U?

  • A: The Chest box can be attached to the bed by drilling through the bottom of the box or to the front of the bed through the back of the toolbox. then attach using Sheet metal screws.

Ordered the tool box due to the dimensions, Arrived before the arrival date, I was allowed to inspect the product before accepting it. When installed, I could not be happier with it, it holds so many of my tools, I love it.

For the money it could be built better

Nice box but the metal is so thin the slightest bump to the top edge bends it in and the lid won't close unless you pull the too edge back out

Poor quality, Great Appearance though Made out of thin aluminum, easy to dent! Should state gage in description. Don’t buy this brand, buy the Tractor Supply one

This box was purchased to use under fairly extreme conditions on a state wildlife area. It seems to be very well built and looks great. The box was delivered two days ahead of schedule. No complaints!
