Very useful

I bought a pair of these boots for my horse with soft soles who loses a front shoe on occasion.
They have saved me many times by reducing weight bearing on my horses soles and are large enough to use a hoof size poultice with small wrap if he has an abscess. They do come off if your horse is very active however I still have had great success with them and will buy a new pair soon.

Not what I had hoped for
One of our horses has thin soles and during the summers her soles get tender when the ground hardens. This year I purchased one of these boots to see if it would relieve some of the pain. I left her stalled with the boot on for a couple days and all was fine but within 2 hours of turning her out to pasture, the boot was gone. After finding the boot and putting it back on, it was gone again by the end of the day. If you're planning on keeping your horse stalled, it would probably be ok, but if they're going to be turned out, you might look for something that will stay on better. I gave this 2 stars only because it stayed on while she was stalled.

This boot worked way better than expected. Great value for the price. Used for my horse with an abscess that lives on pasture to keep out of the mud. Has stayed on for several days with minimal chafe. Get a size smaller than they measure and it'll stay on great!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Made my horse bleed in 10 minutes.

Bought these for my horse to lunge in while I grow his feet out this winter. First time I used them, put them on, loved them. Lunged him for 10 minutes, and they had rubbed so bad he was bleeding. Super disappointed.
No, I do not recommend this product.

They fall off no matter how much you adjust

They don’t stay on. They go on okay but fall off after a few minutes of walking.
