Buy once, cry once. It's the longest high quality rotomolded kennel on the market. Slightly narrow but I'd rather have the narrowness than sacrifice the length. Gunners are 33 inches long, the hero is 35. Two inches might not sound like much but that's the difference between my 95lb Chesapeake being able to lie down straight or not. A similar sized dog in the largest gunner kennel would have no choice but to lie down on his side, and curl a bit. Any retriever will fit comfortably in this kennel, although they won't have a ton of sprawling room. It also fits perfectly in the back of an f150 super crew cab, with the rear seat up, which is a nice option. Gunners are too wide, which is where that slight narrowness pays off. It's crazy expensive, but it's totally bomb proof.
