Q: I have a 13 inch pipe. If I want to join another one to it, is it better to get a larger or smaller one? Galvanized culvert pipe?,
5 years ago- A: Depends on expected or known water flow. Generally 1" down size is not going to make much difference unless you typically get a long term down pour of water that fills a 13" pipe. Then you may question if the 13" is enough and wish to consider a larger culvert . In either case, just be sure to place the smaller pipe within the larger pipe in the direction of water flow.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: How do you join it up to another pipe made of same material?
5 years ago- A: They also sell a galvanized coupler. If you search it , it should come up. I used one to connect two pipes with no problems5 years agoHelpful?
