The Cuisinart Chimenea Propane Fire Pit will be a stylish addition to your outdoor entertaining space. Not just for ambiance, this innovative directional heat shield forces the hot air outward, warming you and your guests. With 40,000 BTUs of heat this unit can run off a 20 lb. propane tank for up to 9-15 hours (depending on heat settings). 8 lbs. of lava rocks are included; these red rocks trap and disperse heat, providing warmth and a beautiful ambiance as the fire dances over them. The durable constructed painted steel frame and stainless steel base includes a tip-over safety switch for extra protection. Easy to use with an adjustable heat control system, the Cuisinart Chimenea Propane Fire Pit will be a great addition to your outdoor living space.

Love it but no longer ignites

I adore this fire pit but after a couple of years with only light use, the igniter no longer works. I can’t seem to find a replacement part for it. I have kept the cover on it. I’m not quite sure why the igniter has gone bad but it has been a couple years. I wouldn’t mind replacing the igniter but will not be buying another if I can’t get replacement parts to extend the life of the product. For the price of this fire pit, I expect it to last more than just a couple years.

was given as gift for my birthday. Took over 3 hours to assemble. the instruction illustration could be vague . An assembly video would be very helpful. The SS screw through P is not l0ng enough for the wing nut so i had to go to the hardware store to get a longer one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never had a propane fire pit before but thought I would try one. This is perfect for those chilly nights when you want to sit outside and relax under the stars. I like the feature if it tips over it automatically shuts off. I was a little intimidated by the big box but it wasn’t too hard to put together. I will definitely enjoy using this more often. After busy days at work it’s nice to relax.
