The smoker provides good smoking performance and produces tasty food, but has some quality issues. The built-in thermometer is often inaccurate, requiring the use of a separate oven thermometer. Needs redesign

Air flow needs a redesign a bigger charcoal pan with no holes in the bottom I will say it smokes ok for a little bit until the charcoal pan fills with ash then the holes on the bottom fill up with ash and the air adjustment on the bottom fills up with ash and the air flow is choked off and the fire goes out with everything wide open I do have a different brand with a similar design and work really well but I need a bigger one thought it would work well I was wrong I know Cuisinart I s a great product but not this particular item I am disappointed in this item

No, I do not recommend this product.

Long Time BBQ Smoker

Was easy to put together. Had an old Brinkman vertical smoker that was about 20 years that was worn out. This one is a lot bigger than the Brinkman. Does leak a lot of smoke around the door and top. Got some gaskets material for smokers and put around the door and lid and now it still leaks around the bottom of the door. Will have to get some more of the gasket material to seal that area up.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good with/Some problems

My most important complaint is the thermometer…it doesn’t indicate the correct temp I will have to replace it. It takes a lot more than designated time to assemble. The directions could be more clear the door handle was very difficult as to orientation of the parts was unclear. The Hatches are very flimsy both in the attachment to the base and it being securely fastened to the base. I’ve used it two times and was satisfactory but it’s difficult with the thermometer is inaccurate s both times overcooked! It was at least 100+ over?
