Algae D-Solv is a fast acting, broad spectrum algaecide effective in controlling many different types of algae including green water algae, string or hair algae, and blanketweed. It's perfect for controlling an existing algae bloom, leaving your pond cleaner and clearer. Many pond owners ask if Algae D-Solv is safe for their koi, goldfish, and other pond fish. Algae D-Solv contains no copper sulfate and will not harm fish or decorative plants when used as directed. Will not harm pond wildlife such as frogs, turtles, birds, or pets. Do not use Algae D-Solv algae killer with snails, shrimp, clams and other crustaceans, or mollusks. Our easy-to-use algae concentrate is made to fix algae problems. Use 1 fl oz of Algae D-Solv application per 360 gallons of pond water. Algae D-Solv is an EPA registered algaecide, easy-to-apply chemical formula. Simply pour liquid evenly around the pond's edge or into an area with the greatest circulation. Do not use more than the recommended dose. Once pond algae growth is under control, weekly doses will control algae growth and reduce pond maintenance. Algae D-Solv works to dissolve algae in a fountain, self-contained aquarium, large fish tank, backyard pond, rubber lined water garden, water feature, pondless waterfall, fishpond, or decorative pond without any outflow. It is highly recommended to remove excess algae prior to your treatment. Removing excess algae will produce better results with fewer treatments while reducing decaying organic matter, resulting in less oxygen loss. Once algae is under control, we recommend following up with RapiClear flocculant treatment.
