Worked great
I bought these yesterday, installed one on my Woods RC4 behind my John Deere 1025R. Spent the day mowing a two acre field that was overgrown with dense tall weeds and grooming three miles of logging trails. Everything worked great.
Other users have mentioned bolts shearing when they engage their rotary cutter. I wonder what RPM they engaged their cutter. The correct way is with the tractor rpm’s around 1500-1700, engage the PTO then slowly and steadily increase the PTO to 540.
It is important to stay within the scope of what your cutter is designed to do. If you’re trying to cut 2” branches all day and your cutter isn’t designed for that.... the shear bolt will protect you and your wallet from yourself by shearing.

GARBAGE!
These are absolute garbage, went through an entire package in less than an hour trying to
cut a field that is cut every couple months, only difference was using a brand new Woods cutter. First two broke on initial engagement of PTO, at min RPM, other three broke randomly while cutting field, nothing heavier or thicker than any other spot, no dirt pile/ ant pile, no large sticks or logs, no rocks, just very cheap junk!

Poor poor poor quality
Dont buy these unless you have to! I break more engaging my pto at 500rpm (I get the tractor as low as I can and then hold the brake to lower the engine speed even more) if one survives the initial start up the first any hill , crayfish mound or small thorn bush it shears. I have to pick up the rear shredder and slowly lower it on to anything taller than 1' the tractor store down the road is closed Sundays and Mondays so im forced to mow today. Im buying 10 of them guarantee ill be out before the sun goes down. 1 from the tractor store lasts days before breaking. These break faster than they should.

Critical component of the cutter that I bought at TSC. So glad you stock “repair parts” for the products you offer.
