Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work as described When I disengage lever, agitator and drum still turn. Manure will start to spread immediately. No way to fill and move around without manure falling out. This is a brand new spreader. I did not notice problem before buying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good size I just got my manure spreader and have used it once so far. When I went to grease the four places, the one on the left side is not convenient. You have to remove 3 bolts and a cover. It seems that there could be a latch cover so you could just open it instead of removing it. The spreader works well if the manure is dry. If it is fresh, it won’t slide down the front side. I had to continually stop and scoop it down. I’m sure the more I use it, the easier it will get. It is heavy, though, so I can’t tip it up on its nose to drain after washing it out. The online video makes it look a lot easier than it is. I do like the size, though. It should have sealed bearings instead of what it has. That is just a design flaw, like the cover you have to remove in order to put grease in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for straw Not made for someone with a lot of straw. It spreads manure well but the roaterry arm inside the tub dosent work well. And gets wrapped in straw. Even with out any straw I have to stop and nock down the manure above the arm to finish the load.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't aggitate, or spread manure We just bought this yesterday, May, 26th, 2018 from Tractor Supply. Got it home, hooked up, loaded up. Doesn't agitate manure, doesn't spread at all. WE think there is an issue with the tire mechanism. Taking back to the store for a refund.

Brand new, haven't used yet. When I disengage the wheel lever the beater and roller continue to turn. Manure will just fall out and spread when moved from stall to stall. This problem is mentioned alot. How do I fix?

Asked by: Kg75

How do you stop it from spreading manure when moving it? I disengage the wheels and it still spreads the manure.

Asked by: Sarah100
Once material is put in spreader it should disengage and drum will not turn. The drum does turn, even if disengaged, when empty.

To our knowledge, there are no different sized grease ports on the grease zerk. Everything we manufacture is the same size.
