Q: I have a hydraulic top link that is now four inches too short when fully extended after adding Pat's quick hitch. Does this hook to the top link and serve as an extension? Any other suggestions?

2 Answers
  • A: This leveling assembly is not designed to attach to the top link. There is a top link adapter that is intended to be used with a different quick hitch design then Pat’s Quick Links. One of the challenges with using this adapter is it would be required for every implement that is being attached to the tractor, not a great solution. The best solution is to get a longer top link, not the most cost effective but the right way to go.

Q: Would this work on my GC2310 massey , compact

2 Answers
  • A: The manufacturer does not have cross-compatibility for this model. For a fuller explanation, here is their response: "Unfortunately we really don’t know if it will fit the GC2310. We looked up this tractor and it looks like the one end of the sidelink has a ball joint which this particular sidelink does not have. It is possible that one of the other sidelinks we recently added to your line would fit this application but the customer will need to know the length of their existing sidelink from pin hole to pin hole."

Meh

They work, but are not strong at all. I have a 1500 lb attachment behind my tractor and two of these just sheered off at the top. Not from moving or side to side, but just from lifting the load.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Worked ok

Bought to get more lift on my Mahindera Max 26XL 3 point hitch. Had to modify by cutting off one clevis and welding on a 3/4 in. ball end from Tractor Supply. Would be better if the threads were beefier, 3/4-10 instead of 5/8-11, otherwise not bad for the price. Ordered it in to store to save shipping, received in about 3 days. Working out ok so far with sub soiler ripping out tree roots and rocks.

Yes, I recommend this product.
