As some have said, the flow is not in a column shape. It covers a wide area which is perfect for my application. I have it in a home gym area that's about 25 foot wide. Anywhere in my gym I go, I have air blowing on me. Very nice fan!

A waste of money

Piece of junk. Waste of money. I bought this less than 60 days ago and used it a few times.  The prong on the plug broke so the speed is half speed. One of the blades broke and when I called the store, they said you didn’t buy the extended warranty. It can’t be returned because more then 30 days. So I’m stuck with a $500 crap fan.

No, I do not recommend this product.
