Flimsy and of poor design, little to no support

The 3 year warranty is the manufacturer warranty. Buy the TSC warranty! One month after purchasing the fan ate two fan blades after auto-cavitating. I contacted the manufacturer per the warranty. They would not replace the unit but would replace the fan blades (the hub bent as well but I'll have to correct that myself.) the only problem is the blades are on back order, and the manufacturer doesn't know when the blades will be available for shipment.
I teach significantly cognitively disabled children, this is a $500 fan, this is a public school with very little discretionary funds, and Tractor Supply was quite abrupt in turning me away, even after explaining our situation. Very sad and reflects badly on TSC.
No, I do not recommend this product.
