Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wraps just like poly Bought 10 rolls. It fed through the round baler just like the poly I've used before. Hopefully the strands I lose track of while feeding will disappear with the sun. I'll be getting more next year.

Details say "Degradable Plastic Twine", while Specifications say "Biodegradable: NO". How quickly in Ohio winter weather does it last in contact with the ground and in direct sunlight (not sure which will degrade faster)?

Asked by: kusc
This twine combines the unique benefits of sisal and plastic twines in one product. Lasts longer than sisal but will eventually decompose after exposure to the sun. It will last the same as other like twines when in contact with the ground. Beyond that , it is not possible to issue any statement on weather in a particular region as weather is unpredictable and constantly changing.

Since the product specification question posted earlier was not answered what material is the twine made of? And what are the dimensions of the spool? My store does not stock this item so would like to know this prior to ordering online

Asked by: Nhwk5
The material is polypropylene. The dimensions are a 10” height of the tube.
