The National Plant Network Wisteria Amethyst Falls 1-Piece Plant with Purpose bears large, light purple flower clusters with a sweet fragrance that perfumes the garden air. Blooming heavily in spring then sporadically throughout the summer and fall, these stunning garden plants cover arbors, pergolas and privacy screens with beauty and fragrance. Wisteria deciduous vines are outdoor flowering plants that can be pruned and trained during its winter dormancy. At maturity, this plant typically grows to be about 10 to 30 ft. tall and 4 to 8 ft. wide.

Q: I don’t want a vine but it sounds like the tree will be a vine unless you train it to be a tree. Don’t you have one that comes as a tree? When do you prune wisteria tree/vine?
