Its rugged cast aluminum construction with powder coated finish means no future painting. The Imperial was specifically designed for use with steel or aluminum posts. Will fit over three post sizes - 2.5"x2.5", 2.25"x2.25" and 2"x2".

They look really nice - well built, and sturdy - however I will have to return them - they are the wrong size for the posts we want to put them on - too small .....they are perfect - except for the size .....bummer .... will keep looking on your sight for the right size and style ....

Deck and Balcony caps

I have two sizes of cap, 4" for the larger balcony posts and 3" for the deck. Installation with adapters worked well, I had to cut out the old plastic cap on the deck posts with a dremel tool to make a base for the 4" lighted cap. Overall look is great. Will see how long the rechargeable batteries last here in Edmonton
