I’ve only had this up and running for a couple of weeks, so I can’t speak to longevity. It’s easy to set up and install. I’m a little disappointed in the level of illumination, it’s fairly weak. You might consider using 2 or more to light a specific feature.

More of a flood light than a spot light. Wish I could adjust the solar panel separately from the light.

I have purchased various solar spots from home improvement and online sellers, double this price and cheaper. This is brighter, the post is stronger, and you can adjust both the spot direction and the charger angle. The light is white. I think some of the other buyers got a previous design, didn't know how to adjust it, or didn't have realistic expectations for the price. It uplights my small tree nicely. Yes, you need to point it towards a sunny exposure, but it's solar, no cords!
