Ciprofloxacin can lead to the death of bacteria by preventing its production of DNA.

Special Precautions

Keep this and all medication away from animals and children. If your pet is allergic or sensitive to any of the following, do not use this medication:

• Quinolone antibiotics
• Sulfonamides

Do not administer this medication to animals that are lactating, pregnant, or used for breeding. For pets with liver or kidney disease, exhibit caution before administering.

Overdose Information

Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.

Side Effects

If your pet develops any of the following symptoms while taking Ciprofloxacin, stop administering the drug and call your veterinarian:

• Depression
• Confusion
• Convulsions or seizures
• Nausea
• Joint swelling
• Fever
• Decreased appetite
• Yellow skin or eyes
• Dark urine
• Watery or bloody stool
• Increased or decreased urination

It is possible for less severe side effects to occur including:

• Muscle pain
• Drowsiness
• Blurry vision
• Stiffness in the joints
• Diarrhea
• Vomiting
• Drowsiness

It is possible for other side effects to occur.

Storage

Keep area from heat and moisture. Store at room temperature.

Never administer Ciprofloxacin along with any mineral or vitamin products.
