Very good quality. It's necessary to dry every night or alternate them daily with another pair. I've owned 6 pair over the years, all the same model as these. Typically, on my feet 9+ hours daily. I've had both the black versions and brown (black is better for a shop environment). Best boot found for walking & standing on concrete all day. If you leave them wet (your feet sweat), they will not last nearly as long. I've gotten anywhere from 2-5 years per pair when dried properly. Also, mink oil will help extend the life of the upper leather. I've had 2 pairs re-soled by a cobbler using the original upper. I've owned just about every major brand of boot, and I keep coming back to these. Pretty much the best boot for severe duty, working man lifestyle. Holds up to years in the mechanic shop, welding, steel work, construction, logging, you name it. Will definitely buy several more sets over the years. As long as they don't change them! These boots have been unchanged for 15+ years.

Great boots so far. Wore them loose for a day and no problems breaking them in.

These are a Christmas gift so my grandson has not gotten them yet. Very attractive boot great leather and the price was very good for Chippewas.
