This bag has been great! Excellent product for the active lifestyle and really good quality. It's lightweight feature makes it ideal for the long, hot hikes I've used it for.The bite valve works well, no leaks, and the bag is easy to fill & clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working out in the fields you get to know how important it is to stay hydrated. When the sun is glaring and the temperatures high you can quickly become dehydrated. I found this hydration pack quite useful for grabbing a quick sip here and there as I am working. Follow the instructions on quickly cleaning it before your first use or you may get a plasticky taste like I did. After I cleaned it the water tasted clean and I was good to go. I would give it a full five stars if you were able to put hot liquids inside. I love to drink sweet tea and would not put my hot tea into there straight away. I have put some lukewarm tea in there and was a happy camper. Remember to wash it out well with soap if you put anything besides water in there. And even if you just put water you should still clean it out every once in a while. To dry it out I take the little bladder out and hang it to dry with the lid open.

I seemed to have a little bit of trouble getting the cap to screw back on, because after filling the bag, I noticed some leakage near the hole. Other than that, it is very nice to wear, not even very noticeable. Holds plenty of water for the job. I went on a 50 mile bike ride and it kept my thirst quenched.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hydration is a big issue during training. The hydration pack seemed like a viable idea to stay hydrated during training exercises. The problem came when trying to fit the pack under the rescue harness. Didn’t work as planned. We use two different harnesses. One harness has a full mesh back piece, the other just two shoulder straps. The harness with the full mesh back was too cumbersome to be able to use the hydration pack effectively while the harness with just the shoulder straps worked a lot better. Not good but a lot better. After many moments of discussion, we tried it over the harness with the shoulders straps. It fit well and did not interfere with the D ring at the top of the harness. Job done! Not quite. The water tube was too long and continually in the way. We were never able to reroute the hose that would allow adequate use without smashing the hose entirely. Conclusion: Works well as a hydrations pack. Ample water supply. Just doesn’t work with rescue gear on. As a standby unit it receives 4 stars. As a working rescue unit 1 star. For what it was intended for It I give it 4 stars. It was fun to try and get it to work.
