    Faulty hoses

    My son busted a hydraulic hose two hours after getting it home the warranty did not cover it lost all my hydraulic fluid and had to replace the hose out of pocket.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Don't buy this!

    You would think being an excavator and being made by cat that it would be able to move in the dirt to pick up dirt and a roll over say a small hole or a small Rock. However, it cannot, it gets stuck. The bucket doesn't lift high enough to scoop anything and empty it out. So disappointed in this toy. The makers who are specifically in construction as their business did not test this toy at all.

    It's a christmas gift so I'm not sure how it holds up yet. It looks good in the box though.
