Rated 1 out of 5 by from junk steel Really poor steel used. Trailer less than a week old and one of the pins broke.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not recommended The trialers are pretty nice, but the pins suck. Both broke on normal use. No extra pressure on the upright ramp except air when moving. Both pins showed crystalized steel, making them week and brittle. Definitly need to be improved. Replace both with large grade 8 eye bolts and nuts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality - need a better design I have been through 3 of these just this year! The last one didn't even last a week. The pin needs to be made of heavier steel or even a bigger diameter pin that can still fit in the hole. I hate to do it because it is going to be very inconvenient but I am going to have to try what previous reviewer said and use bungee cords to keep it tight. Just can't keep breaking pins!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design I agree with the other reviews. This is a poor design and/or steel quality for the design. The pins can not take the vibration that occurs with the gate going down the road. Eventually the pins break. I broke 3 pins and finally figured out that you have to use two bunge straps (one on each side) to hold the gate tight. Once I did that, I have not broken a pin in 8 years!

Can you provide measurements for the bolt itself? Need to determine if this will fit my trailer.
