An update to our most popular Active Jac, the Carhartt Women's Washed Duck Active Insulated Jacket was designed using feedback from our Carhartt Crew. Every detail of the women's insulated jacket, from the hood drawcords with cord locks to the updated zipper design for smoother use and added durability, was informed by the hardworking people who wear our gear day-in and day-out. This insulated jacket is also made with our heavyweight cotton duck and lined with 3M Thinsulate insulation for lightweight warmth.
- Made with 12 oz. 100% cotton ringspun washed duck for comfort
- Sherpa lining in body for added warmth
- Quilted lining in sleeves for easy on and off
- Cordura reinforced sleeve hem with inner rib knit cuff resist wear and tear
- Attached hood with low profile adjustment at hood hem
- 80g 3M Thinsulate featherless insulation for warmth without weight
- Carhartt-strong triple-stitched main seams for durability

Test in all weather conditions

Took this jacket to the teat on all weather conditions. Needed something to walk my lab (dog) and head out the door.
I do a lot of fitness. 5'4 130lbs and i normally wear a small in women but went for the medium and PERFECT fit.
Bought in NYC end of October 2025
Used in November and December mornings in NYC. I bought a medium so I can wear a hoodie sweatshirt underneath. It does keep you warm but with a sweater or sweatshirt underneath.
The big test is in Vermont December 28 2025 temps are frigid cold rain and icy. Took it up for a 2 mile hike in was raining and the inside held great WARM! BUT it does get a bit on the heavy side when it gets wet! I was able to move upper body very comfortable and not restricted.
Did it keep me warm yes.
I use this coat specifically to head out to walk my dog and head to CrossFit.
The waist is great, pockets are big to leave your gloves in the outside pockets. The sleeves on the wrist are great.
The feel/ material of jacket is not heavy like other Carhartt jackets.
