An Even Better Fit Than the Full Length Overalls

Well, we know which color is the most popular: Carhartt Brown, of course. To satisfy my overalls obsession, I first bought the Rose Ashland Bib Overalls, then the Carhartt Brown Ashland overalls, and finally, the short overalls in Carhartt Brown. I wish the full-length overalls fit the way the short version fits. They are comfortably loose without being baggy. The description does mention they are more tapered through the waist and hips and ... it works! Others have mentioned the closures are not as user-friendly as traditional overall closures. Once you figure out how to fasten and unfasten them, they're not so bad. I generally just slip the straps off my shoulders, avoiding the need to unfasten and refasten the clasps altogether. The only oddity about the short overalls is that the hammer loop is on the right side instead of the left side but "If I had a hammer," I would prefer the hammer loop on the left. As short overalls, some of the pockets found on the legs of full-length overalls had to go away but the side pockets, chest pockets, and back pockets are still there and offer plenty of space just like the full-length version. I love these overalls.
