Q&As

1 - 10 of 12 Questions

Q: How to determine what size to buy

1 Answer
  • A: Howdy neighbor! To find your perfect size in these Carhartt leggings, use a flexible tape measure to find the widest part of your hips and the narrowest part of your waist, as your hip size is the most important factor for a comfortable fit. As a general rule of thumb for this specific fitted style, it is usually best to choose your standard pants size, or step up one size larger if you prefer a less compressed feel around your midsection.

Q: How do they detract thorns?

1 Answer
  • AI-generated
A: These leggings are not suitable for protecting against thorns. They are a thin, lightweight pant, and it is recommended to use a double-front style pant for clearing brush or thorns to prevent being scratched.

Q: Will goat hair stick to these?

1 Answer
  • AI-assisted
A: Hello, thank you for your question. Fine animal hairs (like goat hair) can stick to these leggings because the knit fabric can attract and hold hair.

Q: I need a pant which will protect me from thick weeds and thorn bushes, which I am trying to clear from our land. Are these thick enough?? Or do you recommend another type of pant. Plain Jeans don't work

1 Answer
  • A: Those will be a thin lightweight pant so they would not be suitable for that application. You might want something that have double fronts, so even if you get snagged through the first layer its not going to scratch you.

Almost perfect

I was given a pair of these 3 years ago. I'm still wearing them and they're not even showing wear. I wear them to work. I wear them hiking. They are versatile. They have become my favorite "pants." They're more of a legging, really. The fabric is both tough and breathable. The fit is flattering. Best of all they have ample pockets; one my phone fits in and smaller pockets on both sides. For me these are the perfect leggings. I bought two more pair. I just wish more colors were available. The tarmac is more of an army green. The other choice is black. I'd love blue, brown...

Great and durable

These are great and very durable leggings. The tall versions provide total leg coverage. I have two pair and I purchased two pair for my husband which fit him very well and he wears them often. We both enjoy and would recommend them for everyone.
