Great, but easily ripped!

I actually truly love this shirt! And would buy more if they are on sale. The only negative thing is the material is easy to rip. I wasn’t wearing my new top for much more than a half hour when I walked by a table in my shop and it ripped a giant hole into the side of the top. I would think being carhartt, built strong type thing, that it wouldn’t rip apart so easy… on the good side, the colours are nice, the shirt is comfortable and very flattering with its shape! Flameproof which is approved for me to wear while welding.

Definitely love that this is a more form fitting shirt and not too baggy/boxy, but also not too form fitting. The arms are just long enough, but not too long. The vented sides definitely help throughout the day for a more breathable shirt. I definitely do recommend!

So Disappointed!

The fit and style of this top is great, and while that’s always a nice bonus, when I’m buying from Carhartt, I’m usually looking for quality over aesthetics. In other words, I want these clothes to WORK! After wearing this top just twice while welding (stick - nothing major), it already has small burn holes ALL OVER. Ironically, one of my plain 100% cotton Carhartt shirts has held up better under sparks than this one. For the price point and for being sold as flame resistant, I expected so much better.
