I love these shorts! The material is carhartt stiff, but it isn’t uncomfortable at all! They are similar to a pair of denim shorts. I am 130 pounds, 5’4”, and a size 4 fit well. There is a drawstring on the inside, so I could even pull them a bit snugger, since they’re elastic-waisted. I’d say that they’re a little shorter than mid-thigh. I honestly think they’re perfect!

I like these. I ordered small and medium to try, and I ended up keeping both. The mediums are baggy, the smalls are a little more fitted than I like to wear on the farm, but I still think they'll do. I'm 5'2, 125. I like the material. It's substantial but not too hot. It's sort of like a soft canvas, not synthetic feeling.
