Formulated with nitenpyram to kill adult fleas and prevent them from biting, these pet flea tablets work in as little as 30 minutes, eliminating fleas in just one treatment. Use with dogs and cats older than 4 weeks of age and weighing at least 2 lb. You can also apply the flea tablets for pets in conjunction with other products, from heartworm preventative to shampoo and vaccines.How it Works
Capstar Tablets treat flea infestations, working to kill adult fleas with the active ingredient nitenpyram.

Side Effects
In increasing order of frequency, the most frequently-reported side effects in dogs are: nervousness, fever, salivation, vocalization, hives, panting, seizures, trembling, incoordination, hyperactivity, diarrhea, decreased appetite, itching, vomiting, depression or lethargy.

Store at room temperature between 59° and 77°F (15°-25°C).
Tips
- Capstar is safe for use with other products, such as other flea products, shampoos, deworming medication, vaccines, antibiotics, corticosteroids, and heartworm preventative.
- Capstar tablets do not affect fleas in your pet's environment, so you may need to treat more than once. Immature fleas around or in the home will keep developing into re-infesting adults.
- Capstar protects your pet from parasite infestation because fleas often transmit them. This includes tapeworms.
- If your pet experiences re-infestation, it is safe to administer another dose each day.
- One dose should effectively kill adult fleas on your pet.
